Creating Reports

Another key functionality of EventConsolidator is the ability to create reports.

To access the report menu, simply click on the field "Reports" in the treeview. It will look like this:

Here you have an overview of the existing reports in the middle pane. In the right-hand pane, all your saved custom reports will be accessible when you chose a report type.

Above the two views, you have several buttons which provide different functionality.

Rescan Reports

This button refreshes the list of available report types.


Once a report type is selected you can use the other buttons.

New

With this button, you can create a new custom report.


Edit

When a custom report is selected you can use this button to fully adjust the options of a report. You can open the configuration windows by double-clicking onto a custom report, too.


Delete

When a custom report is selected you can delete it by clicking this button.


Generate Report

You can directly create the desired report by first marking the report you would like and then clicking on this button.


Please Note:

All these options for creating, editing, deleting and generating reports are available as a context-menu when right-clicking into the "Saved Custom Reports"-pane
