How does licenseing work with EventConsolidator?
Licensing could be a bit confusing when dealing the first time with EventConsolidator. When you decide to buy a license, you have to keep in mind, that one license allows you to monitor 5 machines. Please take a look at this chart for some info:
| Licenses
| Clients
|
| 1
| 5
|
| 2
| 10
|
| 5
| 25
|
| 10
| 50
|
So, even if you are only having one or two computers you have to monitor, you have to buy a license with which you are able to monitor 5 computers. This is the absolute minimum.
Further you are able to combine licenses. So if once you are in need of more licenses, simply by the needed amount. Then add the license key into the licensing chart in EventConsolidator. The licenses will be combined and you are able to use all of them from within one installation of EventConsolidator.
